Affiliated Drug & Alcohol Testing is pleased to present our proposal for drug testing service. Affiliated Drug understands the problems and high costs associated with drug and alcohol abuse. Affiliated Drug & Alcohol Testing conducts Department of Transportation (DOT) and PUC regulated drug testing as well and FAA and NON-DOT. In compliance with the DOT & PUC Drug and Alcohol testing regulation, Affiliated Drug & Alcohol Testing laboratories are certified by Substance Abuse and Mental Health Service Adminitration (SAMHSA) also known as the National Institute of Drug Abuse (NIDA).

SPECIMEN COLLECTION:

Our collectors employed by ADAT perform their duties with the highest degree of professionalism.

All donors will be positively identified as the person to be tested. All coats, bags, or briefcases will not be allowed inside the collection room. All specimen will be checked for proper temperature.
All specimen are sealed in the presence of the donor, A Chain of Custody form is prepared, donor and employer are provided with a copy of the Chain of Custody form.


TRANSPORTATION OF SPECIMEN:

Specimens will be picked up daily.


LABORATORY TESTING:

Our forensic drug testing laboratory (Medtox lab) is certified, licensed and performance monitored by the (NIDA), AACC/CAP specimens are screened using one or more of the following: Enzyme Immunoassay Radioimmunoassay, Flourescance Polarization by Gas Chromatogragpy/Mass Spectrometry (GC/MS).


LABORATORY RESULTS:

Negative results are reported within approximately 24 hours. Positive results must be confirmed by GC/MS and are normally reported within 48-72 hours.


CONFIDENTIALITY:

Unless otherwise requested by the employer, dissemination of test results will not be given to unauthorized personnel.


RANDOM:

The random selections process is performed 12 times a year based on the company size.
